Ancient Chinese ideas about life, death and the world beyond come into focus in Unearthed. Presented by the ANU Australian Centre on China in the World Gallery, this exhibition brings together rarely seen funerary ceramics from the National Gallery of Australia. Dating from the Han to the Song dynasties, the objects reveal changing beliefs about the afterlife, the craftsmanship of tomb furnishings and the ways burial spaces were designed.
