What was ANU ranked in the 2025 QS World University Rankings? Answer: 30

Did you know? More than 8,000 institutions were analysed in the latest 2027 QS World University Rankings, and ANU placed in the top two percent globally. 

This year’s highlights include reaching 100 per cent renewable electricity across all campuses, reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 78 per cent since 2019, saving around 63 million litres of water through proactive leak detection and growing our campus trees count to more than ten thousand.  

The report also features community stories, including student internship projects, over six tonnes of goods donated by outgoing student residents and the ANU Kitchen Garden Program. 

These efforts contributed to ANU ranking 16th globally in the QS World University Rankings for Sustainability in 2026.

75 per cent of Australians who use dating apps have experienced some kind of harassment or abuse in digital dating contexts. New ANU research is helping shape the conversation around who should be held accountable.

Staff income statements will be available through ATO online services via myGov, or through your registered tax agent, by 14 July 2026. Once finalised, the information will be automatically pre-filled in your 2026 tax return and your myGov status will update to 'Tax ready'.

In line with the ANU Enterprise Agreement 2023–2026, staff will receive a 2.5 per cent pay increase effective today, 18 June. This will be reflected in your pay on Thursday 2 July.
